Syria has refused to allow a Beirut-bound plane carrying Iranian National Security Council Secretary Ali Larijani to pass through its airspace, Maariv reported.
As a result, the plane, which was supposed to fly directly from Iraq to Lebanon, was forced to fly over Turkish territory, bypassing Syrian airspace.
