On the night of August 8, Russia attacked an oil depot of the Azerbaijani oil company SOCAR in the Odessa region with Shahed drones, RBC-Ukraine reports.
The strike caused a fire and damaged a diesel fuel pipeline. This was reported to RBC-Ukraine by law enforcement sources.
According to the sources, the fire was quickly localized. Four employees were seriously injured as a result of the strike and received emergency medical care. The extent of the damage is currently being determined. Urgent restoration work is underway.
The sources note that the data of the official investigation have not yet been published, but the locations of the five drones that were hit indicate that the main target of the attack was the oil depot.
