The Silent Crow hacking group has announced the destruction of Aeroflot's internal IT infrastructure as a result of a long and large-scale operation.
The corresponding message appeared on the group's Telegram channel. The hackers claim that, together with the Cyber Partisans group, they were inside the corporate network of the Russian airline for a year and managed to destroy approximately 7,000 physical and virtual servers.
According to them, they obtained flight history databases, compromised all critical corporate systems, gained control over the personal computers of employees, including management, and also copied data from eavesdropping servers and personnel control and monitoring systems.
The hackers called their action a message to Russian law enforcement agencies and organizations that are unable to protect key infrastructure. Previously, Silent Crow had hacked Rostelecom and "Rosreestr" and posted the data of Russians on the Internet.
