Israeli intervention is unacceptable. Fidan

Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan informed his Syrian counterpart, Asad Hassan Sheibani, that Turkey is closely monitoring the developments in the country and is prepared to contribute to the restoration of peace.

Foreign Ministry sources reported that Fidan had a telephone conversation with Syrian Foreign Minister Walid al-Moallem, not Sheibani. The situation in southern Syria was discussed during the discussion.

Fidan emphasized that Turkey is closely following the developments and noted that Turkey supports the territorial integrity, unity, and sovereignty of Syria. According to him, Israeli interference in the events is unacceptable.

“The government of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu must put an end to actions that threaten regional stability and the future of the Syrian people,” the Turkish Foreign Minister concluded.
