Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan had a telephone conversation with his Syrian counterpart, Faisal Mekdad.
According to sources in the Foreign Ministry, Fidan noted that the attacks by Israel targeting southern Syria and Damascus are worrying.
The Turkish Foreign Minister stressed that the interference that threatens regional security and efforts to stabilize Syria must be stopped as soon as possible.
Hakan Fidan also noted that it is essential for all interested parties to make an effort to establish peace in Syria.
