The Pentagon announced the sending of additional weapons to Ukraine.
The Pentagon announced this after the statement of US President Donald Trump at a meeting with the Prime Minister of Israel.
"We are going to send them some more weapons. We have to do it. They have to be able to defend themselves. They are being struck right now. They are being hit very, very hard. We will have to send more weapons, yes, mainly defensive. But they are being struck. So many people are dying in this mess," said Donald Trump. He repeated his dissatisfaction with Putin's behavior.
"At the direction of President Trump, the Department of Defense is sending additional defensive weapons to Ukraine so that the Ukrainian people can defend themselves while we work to establish a lasting peace," said Pentagon spokesman Sean Parnell in a statement.
