According to Turkish media, more than 42,000 people have already been evacuated from the province. The state of emergency could be caused by heat and drought.
Significant forces are involved in extinguishing the fire, including dozens of ground fire brigades, as well as six aircraft and 18 helicopters.
Official information about the victims and the injured has not been reported yet.
