The Kremlin regrets the decisions regarding Russia in Azerbaijan after the arrests in Yekaterinburg. Dmitry Peskov, the press secretary of the Russian president, stated this.
"We sincerely regret such decisions. It is perhaps important to continue the work to clarify the reasons and nature of the events that, in the opinion of the Azerbaijani side, led to such demarches. We believe that everything that is happening is connected with the work of law enforcement agencies, and it cannot and should not be a reason for such a reaction," he said.
Moscow is interested in further developing good relations with Baku, Dmitry Peskov stated.
"We are interested in the further development of our good relations with Azerbaijan," he said.
