Iran has decided to no longer allow Rafael Grossi, the Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), to enter its nuclear facilities. This was reported by the Mehr news agency, citing Hamid-Reza Haji Babaei, the deputy speaker of the country's parliament.
It is reported that the government's decision also concerns video surveillance, which was previously carried out at facilities under the control of the IAEA.
"Iran will no longer allow Grossi to enter its nuclear facilities, as well as install video surveillance cameras there," the publication's source said. The authorities made this decision after finding information about the state of Iran's nuclear industry in documents from the Israeli authorities.
Earlier, it was reported that IAEA Director General Rafael Grossi stated that the organization supports the resumption of inspections in Iranian territory as soon as possible.
