Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khamenei has sent a message congratulating the people on their "victories against the Zionist regime and the United States."
"I consider it necessary to send several congratulations to the great Iranian people. First, congratulations on the victory over the fake Zionist regime. Despite the noise, the Zionist regime has almost collapsed and been crushed by Iran's strikes," he said.
According to Khamenei, the second congratulation refers to the victory over the American regime. "The American regime directly intervened in the war because it believed that if it did not do so, the Zionist regime would be destroyed. However, it did not gain anything from that war. Our republic won and dealt America a severe slap in the face with a retaliatory strike."
