No one in Iran will abandon the nuclear program, a transparent program that is under the supervision of the IAEA. Iranian Foreign Minister Seyyed Abbas Araghchi said in an interview with Al-Arabi Al-Jadid.
"These aggressions have further strengthened Iran's determination. Our country and scientists have steadfastly defended our nuclear program for years, despite sanctions and now war," he said.
Araghchi assured, "No one in Iran will abandon the nuclear program, a transparent program that is under the supervision of the International Atomic Energy Agency, the IAEA."
Araghchi noted that it is too early to judge the details of the relationship between Iran and the IAEA.
"However, these attacks will undoubtedly have a serious and profound impact on the future course of the nuclear program. We have demonstrated our commitment to the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons for years, but it has failed to protect our program. The IAEA reports are useful, but we also have concerns that they may be politically motivated. We need to review how we protect our nuclear facilities," he said.
