Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov spoke with EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Kaja Kallas on the telephone.
The situation in the region as a result of the Iran-Israel conflict was discussed.
The parties expressed serious concern about the situation in the region and stressed the importance of a diplomatic settlement of the conflict.
The parties also exchanged views on other issues of mutual interest, the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry reported.
