Iran will not seek nuclear weapons in the future. Deputy Minister

"Iranian officials have not had any contact with the White House and have not sent any messages," said Deputy Foreign Minister Khatibzadeh. According to him, the White House has been conveying messages through regional leaders and European mediators since the first hours of the Israeli strikes against Iran.

"We are not carrying out a counterattack. We were attacked, and we are carrying out legitimate defense in response to aggression," he said.

According to the deputy minister, if the aggression against Iran stops, diplomacy will be possible again.

"We have struck exclusively military targets. Iran has never sought to have nuclear weapons and will not seek them in the future," he assured. And intelligence facilities and centers from which aggression is being carried out.
