Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan met with Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan in Istanbul for about an hour.
According to a statement from the Turkish leader's office, Erdogan stated during his meeting with Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan that Turkey will use all diplomatic means to establish stability in the Caucasus and the entire region.
According to a statement published on the Turkish Presidential Communications Department's social network, during the meeting, the parties discussed the level of relations between Turkey and Armenia, the peace and dialogue process in the South Caucasus, and current events related to the region.
During the meeting, President Erdogan noted the importance of the agreement reached in the peace talks between Azerbaijan and Armenia. He stressed that Turkey will continue to provide all possible support for regional development efforts, guided by the "benefit of all" principle.
During the talks, possible steps to be taken within the framework of the normalization process between Turkey and Armenia were also discussed.
Erdogan stressed that Turkey is using all diplomatic means to establish stability in the Caucasus and the entire region. Ankara continues to engage with leaders of countries to eliminate the risks posed by the spiral of violence in the area, which began with Israel's attack on Iran.
