A ballistic missile fired from Iran has hit the Soroka Medical Center in the Israeli city of Beersheba, The Guardian reports. This is one of the latest retaliatory strikes by Iran.
A hospital spokesman said:
“The strike has damaged the hospital, with significant damage in various areas. We are currently assessing the extent of the damage and the number of possible casualties. We ask the public not to visit the hospital until the situation is clarified.”
Israel’s deputy foreign minister called Iran’s strike on the Soroka hospital “deliberate” and “criminal.”
