US President Donald Trump has declared that his patience with Iran has run out and wished the country's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei success in response to his words that Tehran intends to "resolutely resist a forced war."
Trump reiterated that he had given Tehran 60 days, "enough time," to negotiate a way out of the dispute over Iran's nuclear development.
"And they made a mistake," the US president said.
Asked what he would like to say to Ayatollah Ali Khamenei regarding the Iranian Supreme Leader's warning about the Islamic Republic's readiness to resist current external pressure, Trump replied: "I would say 'good luck.'"
In addition, he again effectively demanded Iran's surrender. "Two straightforward words: unconditional surrender," the president noted.
