Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Esmail Baghaei said that Israel's aggression against Iran contradicts all international norms.
He noted that "the international community must hold the aggressor accountable and strongly condemn this aggression."
"This aggression contradicts all international norms, the principles of the UN Charter, and international law. The UN Secretary-General has a clear responsibility, and the UN Security Council, under Chapter VII of the Charter, has a clear responsibility to prevent the aggression that was carried out against Iranian targets."
The representative of the diplomatic department, noting that many countries have openly expressed their position so far, said:
"Countries in the region have condemned this act of the Zionist regime and warned about the consequences of this crime and aggression in the region and the world."
