Axios reported, citing two Israeli officials, that Israel has been asking the Trump administration for the past two days to join a war against Iran to dismantle its nuclear program.
One of the officials told Axios that Trump had told Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on a phone call that the United States could join the operation if necessary. Axios’ other source denied the report, saying the administration is not considering it.
