Spiegel magazine reported that German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius has arrived in the Ukrainian capital, Kyiv, for political talks.
It is noted that Pistorius wants to get acquainted with the situation in Ukraine and discuss further military assistance with government representatives to the country Russia has attacked.
“We are doing everything we can to support Ukraine so that it can defend itself and be in a position where Russia is ready for serious negotiations,” the magazine quoted the minister as saying before leaving for Ukraine.
