Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian has stated that the provisions set by the Supreme Leader of Iran should be the basis of any negotiations with the United States, not pressure or coercion from other countries.
“Negotiations with the United States are built based on the policy the Leader of the Revolution determines. We will never accept conditions in which we have to completely stop scientific research and then wait for the approval of the West to obtain nuclear materials necessary for industry, medicine, agriculture, and other sciences,” Pezeshkian said.
“Who gave them the right to decide whether we can engage in scientific research? We will never bow to pressure. The Leader has clearly stated that Iran will not create nuclear weapons, and this is our firm position,” he stressed.
