US President Donald Trump has called businessman Elon Musk a “hard drug addict” after a public spat with him, The Washington Post reports, citing a source in the US presidential administration.
According to the newspaper’s interlocutor, Trump was depressed as a result of the public spat with Musk and called “both close confidants and casual acquaintances,” calling Musk a “hard drug addict” during the conversation.
The president’s concern about Musk’s drug use, as the newspaper notes, has become one of the reasons for their conflict.
