A phone conversation took place between US and Russian Presidents Donald Trump and Vladimir Putin, the US President announced on his social network.
"I just finished a phone conversation with Russian President Vladimir Putin. The conversation lasted about 1 hour and 15 minutes. We discussed the attack on Russian planes at the airport by Ukraine, as well as other attacks on both sides. It was a good conversation, but not one that would lead to immediate peace. President Putin has been obvious that he will have to respond to the recent attack on the airports.
We discussed the issue of Iran and the fact that Iran is running out of time to decide on the nuclear deal. I told President Putin that Iran cannot have nuclear weapons, and we agreed on that. President Putin suggested that he participate in discussions with Iran and perhaps be able to help find a quick solution. "I believe Iran is slow to decide on this critical issue, and we need a definitive answer as soon as possible," the US president wrote.
