U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio congratulated Karol Nawrocki on his election as President of Poland.
“The strong and enduring partnership between the United States and Poland is based on a shared commitment to security, prosperity, and the rule of law. The Polish people voted to support a stronger military and stronger border security.
Poland is an exemplary NATO ally and makes an essential contribution to strengthening the Alliance and defending its sovereignty against the challenges of today and tomorrow,” the Secretary of State said in his congratulatory message. “We look forward to working closely with President-elect Nawrocki and the Polish government to advance our shared priorities,” Rubio concluded.
