US President Donald Trump has announced that the United States and Iran are close to reaching an agreement on the Iranian nuclear program.
"We have a chance to make a deal with Iran. They don't want to get bombed; they would instead make a deal. I think it could happen in the not-so-distant future, and it would be great if we could make a deal without bombing the entire Middle East.
We want them to be safe; we want them to have a prosperous country, but they can't have nuclear weapons. It's as simple as that. I think we're pretty close to making a deal with Iran," Trump told reporters in the Oval Office.
