The United States proposes imposing a 50% tariff on goods imported from the European Union starting June 1, 2025. President Trump wrote about this on his Truth social media page.
“Our negotiations with the EU are not producing any results. I propose simply imposing a 50% tariff on goods imported from the EU starting June 1, 2025. There will be no tariffs on goods made or manufactured in the United States,” Trump wrote.
