"Armenia and Azerbaijan can agree on the next meeting in the "3+3" format." Lavrov

Sergey Lavrov stated, "We are convinced that the issues arising in the South Caucasus should first be resolved by the local countries and their close neighbors."

"We are not against extra-regional states developing their relations with the countries here, with the understanding that this is not aimed at creating tension in the region, disregarding the interests of local countries," he said.

The Russian Foreign Minister also discussed the "3+3" format and held subsequent sessions within this framework.

"We discussed where the next meeting in the "3+3" format could be held. Those who want to host this event, Armenia and Azerbaijan, can agree that we can support them to ensure the continuity of the sessions. We are in favor of the next two meetings taking place in Armenia and Azerbaijan," Lavrov said.
