The Financial Times reports that the EU is creating a 150 billion euro fund for rearmament and to support Ukraine.
According to the newspaper, EU member states have agreed to create a 150 billion euro arms lending fund. The European Commission proposed this initiative earlier this year to accelerate the continent's rearmament.
The mechanism will allow member states to borrow from Brussels and use the funds to buy weapons, mainly through joint purchases. This morning, the alliance countries agreed on the fund's parameters. Official approval is expected on Wednesday.
