Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan expressed hope that the Russia-Ukraine peace talks starting in Istanbul will “allow us to turn a new page.” The diplomat said this during an informal meeting of NATO foreign ministers in Antalya, Turkey.
“Turkey has always advocated for peace through diplomacy. After three years of suffering, we see a window of opportunity has opened. I hope that the talks that will take place in Istanbul will allow us to turn a new page,” the Turkish Foreign Minister said.
