The US President's special envoy for Ukraine, Keith Kellogg, said that Washington hopes Russian President Vladimir Putin will participate in the possible talks in Istanbul. He said that former US President Donald Trump would also have traveled there in that case.
"We hope President Putin will also participate; in that case, President Trump will be there. It could be a completely incredible meeting," Kellogg said in an interview with Fox News.
Kellogg confirmed that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky will also be present in Istanbul.
