Russia and Ukraine are still far from reaching a compromise on a peaceful settlement. At the same time, US Secretary of State Marco Rubio on Fox News stated that US President Donald Trump will soon have to decide how long he will continue his mediation efforts between the warring parties.
According to him, President Trump, just 100 days into his second term, is "making efforts to bring peace, to stop the killing and destruction."
"Look, we are getting there.This did not happen three years ago, but now we are seeing the price of stopping for Ukraine, as well as for Russia. The problem is that the parties' positions are still very far apart," Rubio emphasized.
