"The process of restoring relations between Azerbaijan and Iran continues." Pezeshkian

Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian said on the eve of his upcoming visit to Baku that relations between the peoples of Azerbaijan and Iran are based on deep friendship spanning thousands of years.
Pezeshkian stressed that the peoples of Iran and Azerbaijan share ancient histories and cultural and religious values.
“The spheres and opportunities for mutual relations between the two countries and peoples are vast, deep, and diverse, and as the process of restoring relations between them continues, we will witness its improvement shortly,” he said.
The Iranian president hoped his visit would create new opportunities for cooperation between the two countries.
