Yesterday, French President Emmanuel Macron, the American delegation (Marco Rubio, Steve Witkoff, Morgan Ortagus, Keith Kellogg), the Ukrainian delegation (Andriy Yermak, Andriy Sibiga, Rustem Umerov), representatives of the United Kingdom (David Lamy, Jonathan Powell), and Jens Plöttner from Germany met at the Elysee Palace.
After the meeting, Macron made a statement:
"We are all clearly united in our desire to achieve peace. From the very first moment, we have supported President Donald Trump's proposal to end the war in Ukraine as soon as possible. This demonstrates Europe's commitment and willingness to work closely with the United States.
Today, we had a positive and constructive discussion on achieving a ceasefire and a comprehensive and sustainable peace.
"I spoke with President Volodymyr Zelensky before and after the meetings to ensure coordinated action.
Discussions will continue next week in London," Macron said.
