A solemn concert event dedicated to Europe Day was held at the Komitas Museum-Institute. The Secretary General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia, David Karapetyan, and the Head of the Delegation of the European Union to the Republic of Armenia, EU Ambassador Vasilis Maragos, participated and delivered an opening speech.
In his speech, David Karapetyan emphasized, “Europe Day symbolizes peace, unity and commitment to values. Armenia has always been part of European civilization, sharing a common historical heritage and value foundations. In these years, we have witnessed the gradual deepening of Armenia-EU relations, especially in culture, education, and human contacts.”
Secretary General Karapetyan emphasized the role of intercultural dialogue in building bridges between peoples and strengthening common values, appreciating the cultural ties and mutual trust between the European Union and Armenia. Honored Artist of Armenia Hayk Melikyan performed a solo piano concert at the event.
