Armen Grigoryan had a telephone conversation with the Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council of Iran

On August 16, the Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council of the Republic of Armenia, Armen Grigoryan, had a telephone conversation with the Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Ali Larijani.

A. Grigoryan congratulated A. Larijani on his appointment as the Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council of the Islamic Republic of Iran and wished him success in this responsible and vital position. The Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council emphasized that institutional ties have been established between the Republic of Armenia and the Islamic Republic of Iran and expressed confidence that the implementation of the existing agreements will continue. New directions of cooperation will be outlined shortly.

A. Larijani thanked for the good wishes and emphasized that relations with Armenia are of strategic importance for Iran. He also added that Armenia-Iran bilateral cooperation has always had positive results, and that he is ready to make his contribution within the framework of multi-sectoral collaboration.

At the end of the telephone call, the Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council of the Islamic Republic of Iran invited A. Grigoryan to Iran.
