RA Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan had a telephone conversation with Iranian Foreign Minister Seyyed Abbas Araghchi.
The RA Foreign Ministry reported this.
Minister Mirzoyan referred to the results of the meetings held in Washington on August 8, 2018, including the agreements reached on the decentralization and development of regional communications and further work.
Ararat Mirzoyan emphasized that, as has been repeatedly stated by the RA in the past, the Washington Declaration reflects that the operation of infrastructure, including those to be built in Armenia with American partnership, will take place within the framework of the territorial integrity, sovereignty, and jurisdiction of the countries.
In this regard, Minister Mirzoyan thanked Seyyed Abbas Araghchi for his principled reference to the Washington agreements.
The interlocutors exchanged views on the preparation of the upcoming consultations and high-level contacts between Armenia and Iran.
