Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan had a telephone conversation with French President Emmanuel Macron.
The Prime Minister presented to the French President the results of the negotiations held in the US capital Washington on August 8, 2019, in particular the initialing of the “Agreement on Peace and Interstate Relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan”, the joint application to the OSCE on the dissolution of the OSCE Minsk Group mechanisms, the unblocking of regional communications within the framework of the principles of territorial integrity, sovereignty, and jurisdiction of countries and based on reciprocity, as well as the “Trump Way for International Peace and Prosperity” project.
Prime Minister Pashinyan emphasized that the established peace opens up new investment opportunities in Armenia and the region.
The interlocutors mutually expressed their willingness to continue active political dialogue on bilateral and international agendas. Prime Minister Pashinyan thanked President Macron for his continued support.
