French President Emmanuel Macron has shared details of his recent phone call with Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan. He posted about this on his X page.
“I welcomed the agreement reached between Armenia and Azerbaijan thanks to the commitment of the United States. I hope that this agreement will quickly lead to the signing and ratification of a peace treaty that respects the interests of both sides,” the French president wrote, reaffirming France’s commitment to peace and prosperity in the South Caucasus and its full support for Armenia’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.
“Following the Prime Minister’s visit to Paris on July 14, we finally agreed to continue deepening our bilateral relations in all areas,” he added.
