On August 11, RA Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan had a telephone conversation with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov.
In continuation of the conversation between the two countries, Ararat Mirzoyan presented to his Russian counterpart the agreements reached in Washington on August 8, in particular the initialing of the peace treaty between Armenia and Azerbaijan, the joint application on the dissolution of the OSCE Minsk process and related structures, as well as emphasized the reaffirmed fundamental principles in the issue of unblocking regional communications.
Minister Mirzoyan expressed gratitude for the congratulations and support of the Russian Foreign Minister on this important milestone.
The interlocutors also touched upon issues of bilateral cooperation between the Republic of Armenia and the Russian Federation.
