The EU strongly supports Armenia's ambitious reform agenda. Koshta

European Council President Antonio Costa described the meeting between Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen as important. Costa wrote about this on his “X” page.

“The EU strongly supports Armenia’s ambitious reform agenda. We highly appreciate Armenia’s efforts to ensure stability in the South Caucasus, particularly its continued engagement in peace negotiations with Azerbaijan and its steps towards normalizing relations with Turkey.

The recently agreed EU-Armenia Partnership Agenda opens a new chapter in our relations, promoting closer regional and economic ties.

We look forward to Armenia hosting the European Political Community Summit in 2026,” Costa wrote in his post.
