The Foreign Ministers of Armenia and Iran held a telephone conversation today. According to Iranian media, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi, in a conversation with Armenian Foreign Minister Mirzoyan, referring to the aggression carried out by Israel and the US against Iran, emphasized, "Iran will seriously pursue its right to expose the aggressor in international structures and receive compensation."
Araghchi, presenting the current situation, emphasized the responsibility of the international community and the UN to hold the US and Israel accountable for aggression against Iran's sovereignty and territorial integrity, as well as violations of international law.
Thanking the Armenian government for its position, Araghchi expressed appreciation for the support and efforts provided by Armenia in consular matters for Iranian citizens during the 12-day war imposed on Iran.
Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan, for his part, once again condemned the aggressive actions against Iran and welcomed the cessation of the conflict, which contributes to regional stability and the easing of tensions.
