Concrete work is being carried out with the Armenian authorities to prepare an action plan for the liberalization of the visa regime between the EU and Armenia. This was stated by the EU Ambassador to Armenia, Vassilis Maragos, during a discussion organized within the framework of the EU-Armenia Civil Society Platform.
The Ambassador noted that the dialogue on the liberalization of the visa regime between the EU and Armenia is in an active phase.
"It is essential to increase resilience and strengthen society so that Armenia gets closer to Europe. This issue is half resolved; we are on the way to it. These priorities include trade liberalization, protection of citizens' rights, and overcoming social problems. We must work in such a way that we can effectively manage this great commitment," said Vassilis Maragos.
