The RA government reports that the meeting between the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia, Nikol Pashinyan, and the President of the Republic of Turkey, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, took place in Istanbul.
During the meeting, the parties discussed the process of normalizing Armenia-Turkey relations and emphasized the importance of continuing the constructive dialogue and achieving concrete results.
The interlocutors also touched upon regional events and possible directions of bilateral cooperation in this context.
Prime Minister Pashinyan emphasized Armenia’s commitment to ensuring peace and stability in the region and his commitment to continuing the policy of normalizing relations with neighbors.
The two countries' leaders reaffirmed their readiness to continue direct contact and dialogue. They exchanged views on the Armenia-Azerbaijan peace process and the RA Government’s “Crossroads of Peace” project.
