No trilateral meeting planned in Turkey: Arman Yeghoyan (VIDEO)

According to my information, a trilateral meeting is not planned in Turkey. Arman Yeghoyan, a deputy of the KP faction and chairman of the Standing Committee on European Integration, said this at a briefing with journalists in the National Assembly.

"But you know how international meetings are. Very often, decisions are made on the spot. I don't see anything strange in that. I think the visit is essential. If I remember correctly, it's the first bilateral visit since independence. Especially in this boiling region, we need to talk to Turkey and understand each other," Yeghoyan said, referring to Nikol Pashinyan's upcoming visit to Turkey.

When asked what the agenda might be in the event of an Armenia-Turkey-Azerbaijan trilateral meeting, Yeghoyan responded:

"If a trilateral meeting takes place, naturally, the issues existing between the two parties to the meeting should be discussed," he said.

According to him, if Turkey aims to bring Azerbaijan to a constructive field, it has such an opportunity. "It's another matter whether he will have the political will. The fact of the visit itself already says that we can make such an assumption," Yeghoyan said.
