"The Armenians of Karabakh must return someday." Simonyan

The Armenians of Karabakh should one day, when it is safe, return to live in their homes, - said the Speaker of the National Assembly, Alen Simonyan, adding that it would be good if Armenian churches were opened one day. According to him, it is necessary to conduct politics for this.

"When a peace treaty is signed, Armenians can live in Baku. Others can return to the villages where they once lived in Armenia. How do Armenians live in Georgia now?" - he noted.

According to him, when the parties say peace, they do not simply greet each other. "Five minutes after the signing of the peace treaty, the residents of Armenia and Azerbaijan will start trading, communicating with each other and cooperating in all possible ways."

According to Simonyan, societies must be prepared for peace. He gave the example of France and the United Kingdom, noting that these European countries have been at war for centuries. "There was even trade during the blockade of Karabakh. Some representatives of Karabakh sold brandy and took money. "Don't live by fairy tales, like we're going to build a wall and not greet each other."
