Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan received a delegation led by Brigadier General Aziz Nasirzadeh, the Minister of Defense and Armed Forces Support of the Islamic Republic of Iran, who arrived in the Republic of Armenia on an official visit.
The Prime Minister emphasized with satisfaction that Armenia-Iran relations are developing at a high pace, based on natural mutual interests. Nikol Pashinyan stressed the political will of the two countries authorities to expand and deepen cooperation. The Prime Minister attached importance to fully realizing existing opportunities and implementing consistent steps in this direction.
Aziz Nasirzade conveyed to Prime Minister Pashinyan the warm greetings of the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Masoud Pezeshkian. The latter noted that Iran is interested in developing multilateral cooperation with Armenia and once again emphasized the Islamic Republic of Iran's unconditional support for Armenia's sovereignty and territorial integrity.
The interlocutors discussed issues related to the agenda of Armenia-Iran cooperation and ensuring regional security and stability.
