The Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia, Alen Simonyan, met with the President of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, during his official visit to Astana.
In addition to discussing issues on the agenda of bilateral relations, the parties also touched upon topics related to regional developments. The Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia welcomed the statements of the Kazakh side on the completion of negotiations on a peace agreement between Armenia and Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan's support for a constructive dialogue between the two countries.
Alen Simonyan also emphasized that our country is interested in actively expanding bilateral cooperation in the trade and economic sphere.
