Azerbaijan is trying to disrupt the construction of the metallurgical plant by force; Mirzoyan
RA Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan referred to the ceasefire regime violations in the direction of Yeraskh.
According to him, the metallurgical plant being built there will significantly contribute to the economic development of Armenia, "The Azerbaijani side first came up with fabricated, groundless environmental accusations while we are fulfilling all our international obligations," Mirzoyan said, adding that after the denial of the Armenian side, Azerbaijan is trying to disrupt that plan by using force, "This is an encroachment on Armenia's borders. This is not only a violation of the ceasefire, but also, by making baseless accusations and giving a false justification, it undermines a project that can contribute to the economic development of Armenia."
Mirzoyan mentioned that Azerbaijan has repeatedly, in the presence of other actors, assumed an additional obligation not to resort to the use of force. According to Mirzoyan, this way of working in Azerbaijan is unacceptable for the Armenian side and should also be unfit for the international community.
