Hollywood star Scarlett Johansson has set a new record, becoming the most profitable actress in film history. The Wrap magazine reports this.
The global revenue of films featuring Johansson has reached approximately $14.8 billion, which is why she has surpassed Robert Downey Jr. and Samuel L. Jackson.
The record was set by the successful premiere of the newly released film "Jurassic World: Rebirth". The film collected $318 million in just six days at the box office. Scarlett played the role of Zora Bennett, a special operations specialist who travels to an island where dinosaurs still rule.
The most profitable project for the actress remains the Marvel film family, where she played the role of Natasha Romanoff, the Black Widow, for many years. Marvel films featuring Johansson have collectively grossed $8.7 billion.
It should be noted that this is not Johansson's first significant recognition: in 2018 and 2019, Forbes had already named her the world's highest-paid actress.
